Safety first. DTS is a planning aid, not a substitute for proper training, judgement or your dive computer. Decompression diving carries a risk of serious injury or death. You are responsible for verifying every plan against your training and equipment.

1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of DTS Gas Guru and DTS v3.0 Dive To Survive ("the apps"), operated by Spherify Pty Ltd (Australia), trading as Black Water Tek ("we", "us").

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the apps lawfully and only for personal or professional dive planning. You will not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to endanger others.

3. No warranty on dive plans

The decompression engine implements the Buhlmann ZHL-16C model with gradient factors and is tested for consistency, but all outputs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any plan, schedule, gas, ceiling or limit is safe or appropriate for your dive. Always cross-check with your dive computer, tables and training, and dive within your certification and limits.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spherify Pty Ltd is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from use of the apps or reliance on their output. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor codes secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Subscriptions and payments

DTS Gas Guru is a paid app purchased through the App Store and Google Play. The DTS v3.0 paid tiers (Pro, Instructor) are billed in advance through Stripe for the period shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Refunds are handled in line with the Australian Consumer Law and the relevant app store policies.

7. Local-first use

Your plans and data are stored on your device, and the planner works offline. Some features require an account or a paid subscription as listed on our pricing page, and the features in each tier may change as the apps evolve.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the apps from time to time and will revise the date above. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You may stop using the apps and delete your account at any time.
